Wood Chunks vs. Mini Splits

What is the difference between Chunks and Mini-Splits?

Our WOOD CHUNKS (right side of picture)are cut from 4-6" round logs. These logs are then split in half and then split again. We call this quartering. The quarters are then cut into 2-3" thick chunks and are about 2-3 inches across.

Our MINI-SPLITS (left side of picture) are equal to 2 of our chunks. They are about 6' long and 2-3 inches across. The mini-splits are great for larger smokers like Langs, and Stumps. They also work very well with WSM'S and UDS'S.
